Trauma Healing and Empowerment Through Arts and Media

As a multi-artist and healing "place-maker", Georgia’s work as an author, playwright, painter, poet and storyteller has been inspired by her dramatic story of recovery from PTSD, homelessness, Fibromyalgia and poverty. As a catalyst for empowerment, she loves to harness the power of art, poetry, dance, and music to heal trauma in people and neighborhoods. She is also a co-contributor to the healing arts venture, I AM Woman and this is My Story©, and collaborator of a broad range of ARTIVISM efforts.

Georgia’s creative works have been featured in galleries, colleges, conferences and journal publications. The framework for her life is grounded in her early-life calling to serve as a Minister and inspirer, with beliefs rooted in the appreciation of all faiths and the holy gift of creating common ground and shared connection.
